Well,I'm almost ready to start my next project.An engine swap on my Arctic Cat Prowler.The original engine is ready to kack at any time(bad engine bearings),so I'd rather do the swap now and try to save the classic Sachs later on.
I have almost everything I need.Just missing a throttle cable and an engine mounting plate.I'm still hunting for a piece of 1/8" steel for the mount.
Now I know there are a few here that would rather see me sell it as is to a collector,but it has been hacked on pretty hard long before I got it,so anyone who'd want it would probably use it for parts.I'm not keen on that concept.Plus,being my first mini,I'm not willing to let go of it.(not to mention my wife won't let me sell it.She's hooked on it).
In the pic:The bike,new engine(2.8hp),Azusa jackshaft kit(with original DB30 clutch),10ft #35 chain and a #35 60T blank sprocket.
