New to me ARCO, The Purple Monkey

[1967 Tempest]

Got the minibike in trade from AJaxMini and Picked it up from Iron Honky. This is the first minibike that I have had in a long time. Like 25 years. I have a Predator 212cc on it. THESE NEW ENGINES ARE SICK.!!!!

I have the Tiny Tach on it and this thing at half throttle with my fat a$$ (230lbs) goes 20 MPH!!! Once the break in period is over, Ill get new tires and rims and go a little faster.

I hope once the engine is broke in it will shake less. It does seem to be less shaky everytime I ride it.

So it begins. :laugh: I'm really sorry for contributing to the disease Dave! It can be a sickness when you take the first ride after a long time. :laugh:

All kidding aside, I'm glad I could help out and it is a great bike you brought back to life. You really cranked it out quick to. It's a cool thing seeing another bike saved and back on the road. Thanks for the trade again! Hopefully when the guys have the fall meet you can make it over and we'll get to meet up.
