noram 2 speed primary clutch

Just got an original Noram primary 2 speed clutch. 13 tooth. Waited for years to get the correct hub so I can mount my NOS drum and shoes.
I believe they were factory correct for a 69 Rupp. Anyhow, the 69 book calls for brown engagement springs. Anyone have an original 69 clutch to confirm spring color? Or should I use a different color. What RPM engagement should I be looking at?

The clutch on the engine you want to come in at 1,700/1,800 rpm if it is a Briggs which you failed to mention the engine. How about a picture of the shoe assembly with the drum off so I can see what the inside guts look like.

thanks for the RPM numbers. It is a Briggs 5hp. Since having my laptop worked on, I cannot upload pics. Going back to the
person that serviced it. The shoes are the heavy version.

Secondary clutch on the jackshaft about 2,500 to 2,700. Heavier shoes on the engine and the shoes with some holes cast into the p/m part would be in the jackshaft clutch.
