Oil Seal Replacement Advice

#1
I've got oil spewing out from around the crank-shaft clutch side area and from "searching" I guess I need to change the oil seal (got one on order). I've never done this before and want to find things out before I open this thing up.

Is there anything I should look out for while doing this or is it one of those things I'll figure-out as I go? Does the new seal get inserted from the inside side of the casing or just tapped in from the outside?

Thanks for any help or advice on pulling out the old one or putting in the new one.

Wah-Hooo

I think I found out that I don't have to remove the Side Cover, Sump Cover or Casing (what ever the official name of it is) to replace the "oil seal". I was afraid I was going to have to remove it and lose parts in the process.

I hate to be "one of those guys" that answers my own questions, but I couldn't delete my original post.
