old tecumseh need to know horsepower

hello, got this old mini bike to use as a pit bike at the strip, its a tecumseh engine with the numbers hs40-555060 on the cover any idea what horse power it is? bike is in good shape just been sitting in a shed for 25 years. motor turn over great even has spark. hope its some what fast 60 tooth rear and a 12 tooth front any idea on speed? thanks

hs-40 is a 4hp motor:thumbsup: and your top speed would be about 35+mph with the governor still hook up...............:scooter:
