Part numbers or brackets needed.

Hey guys, I am working on a Bird Baja with my students and we need a bracket and gas tank that locates the gas tank on the recoil side of the engine. The engine is an HS-50. Does anyone have part numbers or the brackets they would sell? Thanks.

I have a NOS tank and bracket from a NOS motor I recently purchased. It's dusty from sitting on a shelf in a garage but is new, never had gas in it. I would be happy to donate it to you and your students. I would just ask that you cover the shipping cost. PM me if you would like to have it.

That one puts the tank on the front of the engine. I think he was asking about the one that mounts onto the shroud side.
I am not positive, but I do think it was bolted of spot welded to the shroud.I have not seen one in a long time.

This one was mounted on the side, over the blower housing on the motor I removed it from. I checked it on an Hs40 and a H60 I have in the basement. It lines up for side mount on both motors

OK. I am sorry. Seeing the curved layout of the holes, I assumed, incorrectly, that it bolted to the front of the head.

OOPS, now I see the smaller hole.
