Please help!! Baha question.

Hey crew. I just bought a baha dirt bug for my boy. It’s crazy nice shape. Has an after market power fist 6.5. Fires up runs great. But when you give it a bit of gas there’s a horrible grinding / catching noise but intermittent. I pulled the clutch and it beautiful. The chain does look a bit loose.? I’m not sure. Unless it’s the motor . At idle nothing, it sounds great. It’s when it’s moving for sure. Any help is so much appreciated. Thanks. Phil Vancouver island BC.

Does it make this noise when the clutch is off the engine?

Clutches do need maintenance. If the bushing hasn't been oiled regularly it may be time for a new one.

We can't see the chain in the pic you posted.

A video of what's going on would be helpful in a situation like this.

Hey man. Thanks for the reply. It’s only when you’re moving. The clutch looked like brand new. And I oiled the shaft. I will put a pic up of the chain and try to put a vid of it making the noise tomorrow.when going slow no noise. appreciate your time man. Cheers Phil.
