Project Full of Potential

#1
I just got my latest project off of craigslist. Its made up of 1 inch tubing and Kawasaki Bayou Parts. The guy I bought it from was going to put a vertical shaft motor in it so thats why the shaft is facing up. Im thinking of painting the frame red and black and then painting the wheels black. What do you think?

I was also wondering if their is any motor that you can swap with a 1990 kawasaki bayou 220?

Kawasaki made a 300 the same year. That would probably bolt right in. Probably more money than it's worth though.
Old 2 stroke, street bike engines are light weight and fast. (Yamaha RD, Suzuki GT) Snowmobiles are worth lookin at too. Street bikes have transmissions. snowmobiles are shiftless.
Swapping motors is based on the machinery/tools on hand and your ingenuity.
That looks like a fun ride. Looks pretty stout too. I'd toss an old snowmobile engine in it, add paddles and start building sand dunes!
