I picked up this bike, just don't know much about it It says Rupp on the back seat. Can someone tell me a bit about it? Please and thank you.

It is a 1971 Rupp Roadster/2.
Engine is not correct.
It should have a Tecumseh HS40 4hp engine with lighting coil to power lights.

Thank you so much Ruppking!!! I was told the same thing about the engine, not being right it looks like a lawnmower engine, my grandson got on and drove it, he absolutely loved it and rode until he ran outta gas...
