Is this the right size of O ring for the break switch? This is not my picture, I stole it from Capguncowboy, thank you. I am working on mine and it does not have an o-ring

That was an all original cable and switch. That being said, I'm not sure if it had misshapen or stretched out over time

Break or Brake

One little slip on the keypad and there is always someone to chime in. The switch closes the circuit that has a break in it.:laugh:

O-ring size...... what I did is got an O-ring that was about the same outside diameter as the plates, and a bit thicker than the dimpled part of the plates.

I found that I had two in my stash; a red colored one and a black one. The red one was softer material and when the brake lever travel was adjusted , was too soft and the brake light came on just moving the handle bars. The black one, a bit harder and worked ok.
