Scored a Arctic Cat RamRod

#1
A few months ago I told a buddy who lives a couple hours away to keep an eye out for Arctic Cat mini bikes. Thursday he called and told me about a blue Arctic with big wheels at one of his vendors shops. He said it runs if you squirt gas in the carb. I bought it sight unseen. Drove down Friday and picked it up. Here it is. I guess it does pay to tell people to keep an eye out for you. 1972 Arctic Cat RamRod. Now I am only short a Climber and a Scat.

Very cool, nice score!

When I ask people to keep an eye out for me, they look at me strange or tell me "WTF do you need a kids mini bike for". They just don't understand. I'm glad it worked out for you.

I got that same look! He was like what the hell would you want one of those for. I am glad he remembered though. It opens up a lot bigger area for finding bikes thats for sure. I am sure the cash I slipped him will help him keep his eyes peeled for more bikes as well.

Killer !!

I have bought and sold many bikes over the years. The Arctic Cats have always been the most fun to ride, and I wouldnt even contemplate selling them.

I have an all original climber (except for the pull start) in great shape right down to the VDO speedometer. I don't sell much. Been more of a buyer but I am thinking of selling it. I have a few pictures posted. What is a fair price to expect on one of these?

Does anyone know if that light and kill switch assembly is original for these Ramrods?

If you could, take some more pictures of your Ramrod. It is a nice original bike for referance when restoring ramrods.

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply. I have been swamped around here(ice fishing mostly ). I will take some pictures of them lined up, and of the RamRod. The Whisker is torn apart for repaint/rebuild. But the rest are there. I have a line on another RamRod, and I am trying to make deal. I Still need to find a Scat and a Climber as well.
