Had to grind down some real bad welds clean and prep frame for paint and have gotten two coats of primer done so far. Also primed and painted lots of other parts. Decided not to use the daddy Roth metal flake.. it got poor reviews and was going to be really expensive. Instead I went with this rustolleum black metallic used on the lower forks. Will be on frame , upper forks and a few other parts along with the gloss black and few touches of red. The fenders have some surface rust I couldn’t quite get off so I used a peel coat in a metallic black to make racing stripes ( that way I don’t ruin decent chrome fenders). Plan is to do the rims in a gloss black but do a red line around the edge. Hopefully it works out. Should look good when finished!
