TAV help

I have an azusa mini bike with a HF clone and recently purchased a new tav off flea-bay. It has the aluminum backing plate. Took me a while to get it up and running because I kept getting the wrong type of sprocket. Finally got the right sprocket and got her running and I notice I have to rev it up pretty good before it will engage. I think the included belt is too long. It seems excessively loose and I can remove it completely off the rear with no effort at all. It's a quinjang or something belt and I dont know how long. Does anyone have one of these belts on their TAV? My center to center spacing is 6 11/16 and the belt is marked 743? Length in millimeters maybe? HELP !!!

Might be a belt for a 7" pulley.

Try going to GoKartSupply.com and check out their chart for the correct belt to use. Good Luck

they also have information on how to measure for belts.

i`m not familiar with the stuff from china though.

I did the belt pinch test around the front pulley and have a sloppy 5/8 inch all the way around the shaft.
