Tecumseh H50 year of Manufacture....

Well I followed the guide on OldMiniBikes, looked at my old and newer Teke manuals and still come up with the same what year is it insanity. I'ts a H50-65410N Ser 3108D. But how can I tell if its a 1973 or 1983 ??? I included a picture of the Beast if it helps any, (took off the gas tank). Any inflammation on this is most appreciated, (no pun intended).

I would say '83....April 18th.

I would also lean toward 1983 based on the absence of the riveted ID tag. I am assuming the numbers are stamped on the top of the shroud?

I think your both right with 1983 I.D is stamped on the front, near the top of the shroud.
How can I tell this is not a motorsports model......I.D........year......or some outside physical characteristic???

Look at this thread. The shroud is blue and recoil is vented.
