Looks great I just got a couple hs50s yesterday (a 1974 and a 1988) and i'm tearing them down today. Any large lesson learned you could pass along as I get started?

Thanks.
I've had no major problem rebuilding this engine. I've changed the pistons rings, done a clean hone job as the cylinder had a few scratches, cleaned the carburetor and I've managed to find a magnet for the flywheel as one was missing.
I have of course cleaned everything, changed all gaskets and seals and painted the engine using hot temperature gloss black paint.
