When I was a kid back in the 60s my parents got me mini bike. For a long time they refused to get me a helmet. They thought it would create a false confidence that would make me careless. :eek:ut: I made sure my kids had appropriate gear from the get-go. The youngest one is now a safety instructor, teaching people to ride street bikes.
You are describing my dad. I used to ride on the gas tank of his 250. My Dad's a pretty good guy but we don't live in the country any more. Thanks for the voice of reason.
