throttle hook up on old 3hp briggs?

how do i hook up a throttle to a 61 briggs 3hp carb thats mounted on the tank??? going to switch it out with a 5hp carb and tank to get more fuel help?

this is what I used on an older 5hp briggs, I can get you a pic later of a 2hp briggs throttle hook up too that would be a little more specific.

The part that connects the throttle wire to the throttle is a fisheye electrical connector and some very small nuts and bolt with washers. I have not had a problem with it at all last year coming apart or anything like that.

I came up with an easy way thet I call "the hook" and it works freekin awsome and can be disconneted in one second and reconected in the same time. I'll try to post pic's next week. :thumbsup:

Here's my way of doing it. It is a bit more complex but it has the advantage of being easily adjustable if you want to change the throttle sensitivity.
