Yep, matches the pics on google, thanks. Looks like they chopped, flipped and brazed the swingarms on...

Yeah, that's unfortunate and a very unexplainable. One the nice things about a Gilson is that longer wheelbase dimension. Gilson/MW/AC, all the same. No fork, no right swigarm (i.e., no ID tag) no tell. Basically junk but you know what they say about that.

I think these are the correct forks, and I can fab new swingarms.

^Right, forks look correct from that angle. I would not waste time recreating the swingarm- plenty of them avail. on the forum here. I have a long set here if you want to go that route.
