I bought a Tecumseh H50 Snowblower engine about two weeks ago.
It seemed like it was in good condition from the pictures.
I recieved it yesterday and was pretty much satisfied with it.
Besides the surface rust & rusty headbolts, it looks healthy.
Cylinder walls still have factory honing marks.
Came with Noram type Clutch, unsure of chain size though.
Anyways I was very happy to see it came with a fully adjustable Carburetor. It was a greasy black color when I removed it, but turned a nice natural aluminum grey after brushing & spraying with Carb cleaner. Basically it looks new and I can't wait to test it.
If this carb is worth some money I would like to sell it to someone who might be looking for one. I don't think it is very rare, but it was very clean inside.
Also it has a fitting for a primer pump, so some people might not want a Carburetor with that feature if they are doing detailed restorations.
