Well, Taco, one of the biggest names in vintage mini bikes used a lot of West Bend 2-strokes. Ranging from their 95cc 580 all the way to 134cc 820 from the factory. The Sachs 340 was found on Rokon's, not really a mini bike or mini anything, they're ginormous 2-wheel drive trail monsters. Bonanza had the Hodaka which I believe was 100cc and there was the Desert Fox which had a Tecumseh 817MB which is 133cc. Even Lil Indian had the option for a Power products AH61which was 100cc.

Bonanza used an ACE 90 with a four speed gear box on some of the earlier front peg models, then switched to the ACE 100 with a five speed constant mesh on the later mid peg models.

Bug Engineering advertised a Flea sporting a 125cc Yamaha.

The Quarter Horse came optioned with several two strokes including 100cc Mac, WB610, some 820's, and some 75cc engines like AH47.

Engay Enterprizes made a bike using a 16 HP 175cc Maico as well called the Spitfire.

This one was a one-off custom rig but I remember ... a million years ago ... reading in a magazine about a mini bike (maybe it was a mini cycle) with dual Mac 101s. The story said something to the effect that when it wasn't shedding chains it was a real beast.

Anybody recall anything on the Mac monster?
