Will this shocker come apart

Does anyone know if these shockers come apart?

We often call them shock adsorbs or shockers, not that these would adsorb much of the shock.
Do they come apart?

If it does it will unscrew so give it a try but go easy, it looks like a casting and could snap.

recoil i don't know if this will help or not? my shock is little different looking. one end threads off and then i can use a long extension and socket to reach inside the tube and undo the nut.

recoil i,m not sure but if you look at the casting very closely i think it looks like one end has a pin in it .the lower end by the tire,it looks like it is pressed in and machine off on contour. maybee try to press the pin out ,i have two scat,s and the both have pind in them .let me know how you make out .good luck:thumbsup:

With the spring compressed a lock nut was revealed. Thanks very much to those offering help, its much appreciated.
