I got this CARB off a 2 cycle 3 hp tecumseh engine. Can I use this for my 3 hp Craftsman Engine. No Bowl?? What kind of Carb is this?

it's a diaphram carb. the way it works is the diaphram works off of vacuum from the engine. kind of like a fuel pump. this way you don't have to use a bowl carb. another advantage with this carb it will run at any angle. it should work if it has adjustable fuel and idle mixture screws and a choke:thumbsup:...............

Also, I believe a two stoke carb only has to be half the size of a 4 stroke carb so it could work on a 6HP.

If you take the diaphragm off the bottom be careful to put the the pieces on the right way (right side up)
