WTB Red Kote

If someone has a can they used and they want to sell it please let me know. I see they sell quarts and that is way to much to seal a Briggs 3 quart tank. I'm only going to let it sit like you are. I need some or enough to seal a tank stated above, so let me know. Thank you :deal:

What's the shelf life on this stuff once it's opened?

I have about 2/3-3/4 of a 1 quart can left after coating a few tanks.

It's still liquid. I just coated my tanks on Friday and Saturday.

The local radiator shop guy stores the RedKote can inverted, to prolong shelf life. I do this with opened cans of paint, Glyptal, PVC adhesives, and anything prone to evaporation.

That's a great tip. I actually do that with paint as well. Not sure why I didn't think about that with this stuff.

Also, if the Redkote starts to thicken, a little Acetone will soften it back up. I it is dried, throw it out.
