Cat, 350 or 400 series (handlebars are tilted forward). If it has shock tabs on the rear above the axle mount, it's a 400. If not, it's a 350

It's a 70 or later Cat 400x Witch would have been red. The one in the picture above is a 69. It was a different color and had non foldable foot pegs. Also the the fenders in the add were never used in production of any Cat bikes.

Need to look for the serial number on the front PTO side of the engine plate. I don't think it's 70 or newer because it has the notched engine plate, making it 69 or earlier. The 1970 400x was a longer frame and did not have the notch but had a chain guide. First two numbers indicate year.

It's a 400. Top of the frame has the bracket where the seat bolt goes. Lots of people notched out the back of the plate.
