Home build Tiny mini.

Maybe make a thin (kids) seat and a thick (adult) seat while you've got all the tools and supplies handy.
That's a good idea..I made a new pad out of the yoga mat foam,The looks are getting better..Perhaps with a bit more thinning? I like how supportive this foam is compared to the white upholsterer foam. This is about 1.5 inches shorter.I also made a heat shield out of some stainless for the muffler for some added bling..lol

The bike looks great! You are making really good progress. How do you attach the heat shield to the muffler?
Thanks!..I welded a 10-24 pitch bolt to the muffler and used a nickle plated acorn nut..

I also got the fuel tank situated with a new bracket out of .125 plate and bent it accordingly..

I am concerned that the wheel sprocket is gonna catch one of the rocks that are strewn about my riding area roads and trails so I made this lower skid plate/bracket out of 3/16 and .125 plate for some extra insurance to protect the sprocket.

That’s pretty low

hopefully it won’t drag or catch when you make a sharp turn

I know I had a really large sprocket on one of my minis and on turns it would dig into the ground

That's exactly what I am trying to prepare for,Although I'm more worried with it[sprocket] striking a rock. With the bike upright @90* degrees it has 1.5 inches under the skid plate with no rider weight.By chance the skid plate lean angle meets at the same point as the 4.5 inch long foot rest/peg hitting the ground @ 20* degrees lean angle
...Defiantly not a "Knee dragger" on track day..lol. I made the skid plate bolt on in case I feel the need to remove/modify it if it becomes awkward?

That is all steel work talent. . I am very impressed. ...
Thank you OSF! Been slow going here ...My shop wall got skunked and been too pungent to work out there but the smell is subsiding...I was going to pinch the tube ends closed but opted to plug the tube ends with furniture plugs instead...I was going to use expanded metal for the floor boards but looked like crap so I cut some out of 16 gauge;;I got the fenders and such started with the white paint.. 100_7270.JPG 100_7271.JPG 100_7275.JPG
