1975 Rupp Centaur - Wild Candy-Green Metal-Flake!

1975 RUPP CENTAUR TRIKE

-RARE! Number 313 of only 1200 ever built!

-Elvis Presley owned one which is on display at Graceland

-Beautiful eye-popping, head-turning $2000+ custom paintjob featuring House of Kolor Candy-Green Metal-Flake with orange flames by First Place Finishes! Custom pin striping by the famous Ron Brent! Ron has had many of his bikes featured in Easyrider Magazine!

-Manufactured in 1974 & 1975 by Rupp Industries, Inc. founded in 1959 by Mickey Rupp in Mansfield, Ohio

-This is the more desirable 1975 Two-seater model. The 1974 models were only single passenger

-Rupp was famous for manufacturing snowmobiles,
go-carts, mini-bikes, and ATVs

-Rupp Industries had to close their doors in 1978 due to bankruptcy. Rupp vehicles have since become VERY collectible. Centaur prices typically range from $5,000 to $10,000 depending on condition.

-Originally equipped with a 339cc Kohler Snowmobile SK-340-2AS Oil Injected 2-cycle 2-cylinder, automatic transmission and belt driven centrifugal clutch. It now has a 1981 Yamaha XS-400 392cc Twin, four-stroke 6-speed electric-shift chain-drive motorcycle engine with reverse

-Currently it is geared low, so it is not a highway cruiser. This is a great vehicle to take to local neighborhood car cruises or bike nights. It also would make a cool pit bike, parade vehicle or campground cruiser. You might even want to just park it front of (or inside) your business as an eye-catching promotional vehicle!

-Tires appear to be original. They do not leak but they are showing some age so they will eventually need to be replaced

-Side upholstery is original and is showing some patina but is still presentable

-Rear Dual Inboard Hydraulic Disc Brakes have plenty of stopping power. Front brakes were eliminated.
