This is the train my grandpa restored. It is was used by Grand Trunk railroad to work on tracks and basic inspection and stuff. It has aluminum handles that slide out and 4 people can lift it on and off the tracks. It has a Fairmont hit and miss engine that will run forward and reverse. There is about 1/2 mile of track grandpa bought from a copper mine then straitened with a machine he built, and then laid on the farm for this. We used it a lot and even belonged to a club that traveled to strips of abandoned track and cruised them from town to town across the country side.
