height?

Hi, I recently acquired a Go Devil, and after finding several discrepancies with the TEIKEI carb, I'm also suspect of the float height. Anyone out there have a good measurement?

does anybody know the float height for the honda elsinore mr50? i finally got the rest of the carb ready to go but know the float i'snt set right because the float actually hits the carb body before the tang barely contacts the float needle.

How short can a harbor freight 2.5hp be without the tank and muffler and all that? Also curious what gear ratio is needed for one to move a couple hundred pounds up hill with 12" tires. 15:1 sound ok? and anybody got one to sell ? Thanks..
