A friend of mine said his neighbor is cleaning out his garage and has this moped he'll sell for $100. It's been sitting for a long time. I don't know much about mopeds. What would you do? It's a 1980

I dont know squat about them, but for 100, I'm gonna grab it up, I kinda like the ugly duckling. I do know it has a "Bonanza" badge and also a "500" sticker on the front. My questions are: What do you know about this critter? Approx. year? (Can almost read the serial number on the badge)...
