problems

i have a tec h50 on the gilson i just picked up. w/ the choke on it starts right up, idles fine all day. if i try to shut off the choke it dies. if i try to run it, it dies. any ideas? i honestly know nothing about tecumseh motors or their carburetors so any info would/ will help. also, is...

Recently I went and bought a 6.5hp clone engine from Costco for my DB30. I went and bought a 3/4 comet clutch from Princess auto, the problem is it wont fit on my shaft.. The shaft has a key coming out from it..and the clutch has a key as well...so no way to get on. Are there other clutches...
