puzzled

My buddy called me up and asked if I wanted a free kart? I said ok, much to my surprise he gives me this? I am guessing its late 50's early 60's, but am puzzled on the maker? if any one has any info I would like to try to make it nice again?

Hi I have built a minibike with a Honda 5.5hp degoverned and uprated to about 9hp. It has 16" wheels including tyres .It also has a jackshaft and I am a bit puzzled on what gearing to use. I am not looking for top speed or torque just something in the middle.
