1/8 mile recipes anyone?

1/8 mile racing is usually what we are set up to do. There's a big rat rod show in Gulfport miss That you can pay 10 bucks and run down the track all day long with time sheets.

I was wanting to know if anyone out there has an ideal setup for eighth mile racing.

Things like engine mods, estimated (or exact) hp, type of clutch, or torque converter or even jackshaft, and on those what gears you have, as well as rear gear, rear tire size, weight of bike and weight of driver.

Some things are just cool to know, like the weight of everything.

Currently I'm running:

New style predator
No gov
18lb springs
.20 longer billet rod
Every other fin cut (getting a 3lb billet soon)
Exhaust
140 e-tube
37 jet
Filter adapter
Shaved head 30 thousandthsths ?sp?
Edges cleaned inside of head ports (still a little uncomfortable porting right now)
No filter down the track
Regular pump fuel (not sure if/when to put higher octane in)
Tractor supply clutch..... :-\
13 tooth driver
No idea what my rear is
No idea what size tire is BUT it's a 6 inch wheel about three inches wide with tractor supply tire
No idea bike weight
I'm 5'11, 145lb

I have a torque converter I'm putting on soon

Gear it low to dial in the engine.. when it feels like it's gonna rip the bike apart, start adding steeper gears, until you can't get the engine maxed out by the finish line.. Then go back one gear ratio..

I have a ton of driver gears and rear split gears from the old kart racing days. I just need a bully clutch. Mine is wore the slap out.

I've not ran the 1/8 timed yet, but I look forward to doing so and I have plans to set the rear wheel up so I can put the split gears on

At this stage, I wouldn't think removing the filter would be worth the potential hazards it may pose to your engine. If adding a jackshaft to your setup isn't a big deal, it may be worth your while to set up one for ease of gear changes.

Is it heads up racing, or bracket style?

I have a design....in my head of all places...that I'm sure will work great. I'm not interested in putting a jackshaft on, I was just curious what anyone else might've had.
