Well I dont think Ill be able to start real soon... not untill next year probably...
Unless we can get our welder working, and a place to use it (dont have a garage)

I might just keep it looking like a lawn tractor for now... I dont know, I figure somthin out.

that sucks, well as soon as i get a go cart frame im gonna post a project thread, just wanted to toss the idea around a bit and get some input

Sucks, yes it does...

So I just found a all terrain lawn mower assosiation, maybe there would be better for some information?

Me being on a school computer, they have it blocked...

yep well this whole two month house arrest thing is gonna delay the project, have prepped my tranny already, have a seat steering wheel and rear tires, just need a base go cart frame and some box steel then up up and a way!!!

yess! scoring a nice 150cc pitbike motor to use, transaxle is now gonna function as a range box, 60 in 5th, have no idea what low is gonna be like, prolly really super f-in low

lol. sounds like your plan is coming together. Good luck with the build. I look forward to seeing how it turns out.
well my recent economic downturn has put a real dampner on all this, so this project is not even on the back burner anymore, but as soon as things pick up look forward to a video

its a fine idea. im going to be doing something similar but without a transaxle. im going to use the tine diff from an old snowblower as the axle. you might want to check out heymow.com they deal with the transaxles on their racing mowers. you can look up your particular model and learn to prep it to last longer.
cool idea are these diffs a 1 to 1 ratio?
