8hp Briggs w/Charging Circuit?

I am interested in a recommendation for an engine with 8hp that would easily mount up to a Torq-a-verter 30. I have a Honda engine but the TAV2 30 will not work in my application. I would also like to have a small charging circuit on the engine to run a headlight and taillight.

I have a 1".

I decided to try a Honda 9 hp with electric start. The TAV will take some fitting but I think I can make it work.

The reason I asked my buddy has been buying engines from Carrol Stream ,We just put a 9 hp electric start with charging circuit on a heathkit booney bike for like $309.00 impressive engine for the price !
