Alsport - Adding SL "dashboard" to a TS - Speedo gearbox

#1
I have a Brand new (old stock), in box, Alsport headlight, signal light, speedo, horn, key console that I'm looking to use on a TS-130/25 build.

The question:

Would I need to use a front rim from a RTS or SL (Spoke/hub) to get a speedo gearbox to fit or would one work with the solid front rim (wheel barrel) of the TS?

Thanks!

When I was rebuilding the RTS SL trike I had a new speedo cable made it didn't last long. I ended up using a Off road trail bike recorder and it worked great all I cared about was the speed but it would do a lot more. Riding that trike took all my attention when out on the Portland , Or freeways. That was back in 2002 and with all the new products you could doo even better.

Isnt there a slot in the brake plate that drives the speedo? If you could replicate that i suppose it would "work". Except i don't think the TS and SL tires are the same diameter. I believe the SL is a bunch larger and the reading would be off.
