Have decided to sell my American Leisure Cobra III project. Was gonna do a resto-mod, but decided I have enough on my plate already.
Pretty neat bike with 6" wheels, Carlisle double Indian head tires, folding foot pegs, coil spring under the head tube. Very straight and solid. Missing seat, clutch and chain covers, fenders, and brake caliper. Looks like someone converted it to a scrub brake? Not 100% sure how these bikes were originally set up. Has a spot for a caliper on the sprocket side. I believe the paint to be original, but someone "touched up" the bike with non-matching red spray paint. Will need re-done anyway. Not many of these American Leisure bikes out there. They were made in Philadelphia in the '60s. Frame is long and wide, very comfortable to sit on, not cramped at all. Plenty of room for a clone or big flathead.
Asking $125. No shipping. Located in Lancaster PA. Willing to meet within a reasonable distance. PM questions/offers.
