I have the VT-1040 Super Bronc II with the disc brake also, It dosent have the supports ... my fender was a bit wobbly and cracked around the holes, I shored it up and its not as bad ... for now ... hey Elvis, if you have a miniute sometime (no hurry) can you snap a pic of them so I can see how they are attached.
