Azuza Brake Anchor Attachment

Need to anchor this brake and was wondering if I need to weld a stud or if I can drill through or drill-and-tap on 1" tube. Wondering about structural integrity of course. I can do any of the three but welding involves the most hassle.

I'd weld a stud to the frame.... a hole is never a good idea that close to a stress point like the wheel mount..

I have the same one and I just made a bracket that wraps around the frame with a hole in the top, I put a nut, bolt and washer on it and Havent touched it since, Ill post pictures tommorow

Dog, here's a picture of mine. Mine came with one. I had to grind alittle bit off of the end of the bolt, because it was rubbing. It works fine know. :thumbsup: :biggrin:
