Baja DB 30 Engine Swap Help!

#22
Good thread guys, I just got my first minibike and am excited about giving it more exceleration too, but don't need more top end. The new motor sounds great, but I am going to also start with a new clutch and maybe get the sprocket for better take off. much cheaper than the motor and worth a shot. I bought it to play around with as it takes up little space and is a blast to ride once I get going. Up hills I get a workout, but it will haul myslf and son weighing 260 together on flat ground. A better clutch should help a lot.

i have a wooden table leg that i use to get my clutches off. its narrow on bottom an get wider on top. i jus tap it between the clutch an block with a hammer. cant hit to hard cause then it will push one side of the clutch out while pushing the other in. works everytime
