Baja Warrior Emulsion tube

I was looking to rejet the carb & replace the emulsion tube in a Baja warrior however I couldn't get the emulsion tube to come out. Any thoughts? I've never not had them just fall out once the jet was removed. I tried tapping and pushing it down with a piece of wire from the top but nothing.

It might be held in place by some gunk. Hit it with some carb cleaner and see what happens.

I was able to see it move up & down thru looking with the choke open. It almost seemed as if it had a flange on it.

nah, there's no flange on it. just get a flat head screw driver and "put your purse down", like cheezy1 always says and put some force on it. it will come loose if you push on it hard enough.

I thought I'd check first before I started putting pressure on it. I would rather not have to buy a new carb.
