Can't think of the website however if you'll look up Webster City Iowa (i think) that's where they we're built. there's a cpl pages out there on them, not to mention a huge following and reunion held there in fall every yr.
@rynobucket goes out there every year from a kazillion miles away! He might be able to shed some light on one up for grabs. I do know there is a repop website as well. I'll see if I can chase that down and fwd it/post it. Ryno may have it saved and readily accessible.

Look up doodlebug club of america. Fantastic group of people and they can help you with any of your doodlebug needs. Reunion is fantastic as well. I know three different people who are building doodlebugs and they all got their start from the doodlebug group
