Hello all.
do you have any tips or techniques to remove and re-install the front and back springs.
The detached one popped-off when I struggled to get the lower fork out of the upper fork.
Any help is much appreciated.
Regards,
Bill

Put the spring in a vise and push and twist the leg. You need some muscle. It's a bugger.
Thanks Manchester1. I have a press and like to “make stuff” so maybe I’ll make some fixtures to ease the process. I’m making a pair of reproductions of the rear shocks and they are turning out pretty nice, so I may make a small batch and offer them for sale. I’ve never seen a pair that aren’t chewed-up.
Regards,
Bill
