Breather Foam Cheap Fix

A simple fast way to replace the block breather foam, they always seem to be missing or just deteriorated away. I like to use Scotchbrite it seems to always be around my shop it wont deteriorate from the oil and the lock tab seems to get a better hold of it.

You need a couple things some Scotchbrite, If you do not have any look in the kitchen... scissors, pocket screwdriver and a pic tool.

Cut the Scotchbrite about a 1/4 smaller than the raised portion of the breather.

Use the pic tool to get what is left of the foam out.

After you get all the foam out use the pocket screwdriver and push the Scotchbrite in.

Easy fix for about .25 cents.

Great idea, But I believe I made a mistake the red is for black Rupp engines and grey for the white ones:blink: I better just leave the maketing to you...
