Building a frame jig

#1
I started building a frame jig for mini frames. I used 1-1/4 angle and square tubing to frame up the jig. Its fully adjustable for dead on level on horizontal and verticle planes. The neck is supported on a 5/8ths threaded rod and the rake can be adjusted to any angle needed. When frame construction starts I will level the jig and clamp it to the bench top. The threaded rod will get some machining on it to hold a plumb bob on jig center from the top and have a pointer machined to the bottom side to point on center off the verticle support.

Thanks mmisterbungl: The rear axle support is in. I am waiting for the axle hangers to show up to start the frame. A friend of mine gave me a couple lengths of rigid conduit to play with. I will bend templates from this and transfer the angles to the DOM tubing to avoid wasting tubing. Each frame that I make I will make new templates if I change the design. Walt
