Ct200u upgrade

#1
Been working on upgrading the Coleman for street. It got a rattle can paint, clear coat and a new seat.I cut the rear support and mounted the tc using upper left hole, located and drilled plate to get 3 mounts so I could retain stock gas tank.Had to cut the left end of the cooling duct to fit. I'm not worried about engine getting too hot coz the tc plate guides air up and the engine is stock aside hotdog muffler and a #34 jet.It starts and runs well and has plenty of power. The front tire is a 16x6.50-8 rib and the rear 18x7.00-8 turf with a50t sprocket.I made some adjustments to the fenders..Really happy with it.See our cat Red bud-dy doing impression of a manatee  his head is like a softball.Think he needs to eat a little less.. Did you make the header?
http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5335845805&icep_item=262249042305 I bought one of these then added a 90° elbow.and a straight
pipe coupling.you can also take the muffler off and put a straight pipe.. It fits most gx200ish clones and I can use it over and over.. IMG_20180224_093851_730.jpg . ..I like the hotdog muffler..I was going to put it straight back but decided to ange it down .but decided to keep fenders on..dang sand..I still need to hookup the Killswitch.:001_tongue:

I made pretty much exactly the same part. The welds on the eBay version are much better, though! I know the 90 is not ideal, but it puts the muffler in a really good place. I can barely feel the heat and haven't had any problems running my leg into it. I've got a little soot on the frame, but no biggie. Is your elbow a standard cast fitting? It looks smoother, but hard to tell in the picture. I thought about grinding the elbow smooth, to get rid of the plumbing look, but didn't think of it until it was already on and I was too lazy to take it off at that point.

So just sanded it some..I really like the low throaty sound it has.. here's another pic of my two main rides..the db30 and a mm mb80 behind them I'm saving redos for next winter.. IMG_20180221_203456_803.jpg
