CT70 Barn Find

i picked up this 1972 three speed CT70 this week out of a barn
in tompkins county new york. she needs some TLC and a bunch of
parts, i know it isn't a mini but i couldn't let it go.

That's a "candy yellow special " ,and pretty much every part is available for it either new or aftermarket .I have three of that particular model ,along with a 1970 blue one and a 1982 red one .

somebody rode her pretty rough and put her away wet more
than a few times.

i'm thinking either original colors or the appropriate candy apple
red with a book rack.

Pretty rough.

Be a long expensive road to restoration but worth it in the end if you really like the 70s.

I'd lifan and restromod it. I've always wanted a street ct70.

Funny how you can get it registered for the street. Even in todays world. :thumbsup:

i did get it registered in new york friday. passed
all the VIN and theft tests.

no title, just a transferable registration, same
as the winber beauty that you were doing
mud donuts on!

jeff m has that ct70, he is doing a restoration
on it, i get it winber 2015. i hope that cindy
will ride it in the parade.

these ct's are fun, but bonanza's are more
fun.
