As you already know, the Mini Bike World lost a true Legend recently. I was lucky enough to buy the last Bonanza Chopper front end last week. The quality of his work was second to none. As luck would have it, I found a DMC Chopper Frame on Craigslist the following day. In 1969 I was 13 and wanted one so bad!

Having a hard time finding parts for my BC 1100.
I am aware that we lost Dave but is there still parts available from family member or??

Try @Hent . He has some bonanza stuff. From what I have heard, the family doesn't want anything to do with it. Now......this is just what I heard.

I purchased the Forks on EBay . They informed me that it was the last of the stock. Not a whole lot on those 1100s what are you looking for?

You should start your own thread. Seat is not original. Looks like a Azusa seat. Hent.com has tires and clutch.

Great start. I have one I am getting ready to start also. Got the new forks from Dave about a year ago.need to rechrome the sissy bar and springs. I had a neighbor win one in the pepsi give away contest when I was nine and
thought that was the coolest mini I ever saw. I have a hodaka version already but still really like the Tecumseh set up.

I have an unrestored CR400 with an HS40. The Forks had a decent repair on the upper triple tree. The cost of rechroming kept me interested in the DMC Frontend. I put it off for years.

I hear you, Daves stuff was really a good value for the quality.Chrome is a big expense and slows me down for years.
