I'd buy it. I've driven 80-90 miles to buy a new DB30 for $259 + tax from Northern Tools before, and replaced the stock engine with a 6.5 "clone" from Harbor Freight a week later.
For $125 you can buy the bike, add a jackshaft kit from ProMod (around a 100 bucks) and have a nice little bike for your kid for less than I spent for one stock doodlebug. Hell, you (or your wife) could even ride it, too.:thumbsup:
It's a lot more fun to ride together (on more than one bike) than it is for one to ride while others stand around and wait their turn....
