Didn't I have a Cat 1 of 1 ever made thread here yesterday?

its interesting, like they were trying to make it sort of scat kitty like or something to that extent. you could actually pull off that look with it with it easily as well  is it a flat motor plate or does it have an indent for the for the kickstand bolts?

the other oddity is here is an example of HPE's first use of fenders in '69 which really is nothing near that design, so they were thinking way outside their box when they were putting that (your) bike together.

as seen in an add from nov '69 mini bike guide:

My 300 is a 69 and has fixed foot pegs and no indent for the stand, which makes motor adjustment a bear.

I was told that the bike I had was a 300T, not an X.

As others have said, there wasn't any fixed standard- paint colors and options were different than brochures.

I'd sure like to hear the historical references from CRX's contact. Not to bust anyones chops, but because I find it interesting.

There is a historical thread here, and there is a section on Cat (HPE.Muskin) I and Gerry put together. Why don't you edit any personal data and post the historical aspects of the email?

In Japan, women drive Hondas and Miatas. Men drive Nissans. :hammer: My son's 400 HP 89 SR20 sits next to my 67 Dodge RT in the garage. We both like both. He had the 180 in Japan. I prefered the 1JZ in my Toyota, and it was quicker than my R33 by a long shot. We don't descriminate.
True . LOL. I am partial to the 84-87 crx as this was the first car I bought with my money earned from my first job when I was 18 many, many, many years ago.

I love Nissans. I had a 1998 se-r and loved it. My first car when I'm done with school will be a GTR . Only 5 months until I graduate I have to finish my neonatal/pediatrics medical rotation first . Then the board exams for my practitioners license.

I was heavy into DSM for awhile . I had a 400HP 12 second plymouth laser RS-turbo with the plate "ETMYDST". It was dynoed at 398 to the wheels and 415lbs TQ on 21PSI of crappy 91 octane. I owned #750 of 2000 1991 Galant VR4 as well. and a number of talons along the way.

I will post the historical aspects of the e-mails. There was not too much that was not mentioned here we talked about my cat duster a bit etc..

here is my crx. If you notice the license plate on it next to my mustang it says "RARE CRX" hence my SN.

Thanks for the post. I lived in Japan from 1978 to 2008 with slight breaks living in the US or Guam. My kid was born there, and when we got here we wanted to recreate the 180 he had there. We exceeded that about 12,000 dollars ago. 398 to the wheels is good. We're only running 14 pounds of boost, since it's a daily, but it'll hold up to more, all forged internals, etc. Last one burned up.

I know way more about rice than any caucasian man in his mid fifties ought to. SR and 4A ECU schematics in my head.
