My question is: what did you do about bearings? Mine looks to like I’ll have to use sealed bearings and that is bushed...doesn’t look to have enough diameter to be able to put bearings in?
I remember that Farmer Weld, this bike was my buddy Charlie's and he got it that way. I wondered what is behind door #2 also
Best options for the front rim/tire is from Honda 3 wheeler as far as replacing the hogged out tire/rim combo.

I just used a steel shaft, figuring the bushing and grease should suffice, on a low-use unit like mine will be. I'll add a triangle plate as an outer support, too. It's not "ideal" but I'm doing a freer-running CVT setup on the second machine for speed work.
